Report an Absence

Please use this Absence Reporting Form to report your child's absence from school.

The absence attendance procedure has changed this school year, 2021-22 for specific illness reasons.

If your child is experiencing any of the COVID symptoms: Fever, cough, shortness of breath, nasal congestion/runny nose, sore throat, nausea/vomiting/diarrhea, fatigue, new loss of taste/smell, headache, muscle/body aches, poor feeding or poor appetite, then your child will need to receive a COVID test and those results sent to: [email protected] or [email protected]

If your child was absent due to any of the COVID symptoms listed, the school office will need to receive a copy of the COVID test results in order for your child to return to the classroom. Please do this before sending your child to class.


Covid Protocol Reminders: There has been no Covid transmission at Golden Hill because our families and staff have been following the Covid Protocol faithfully:

1.  All students and staff wear masks unless eating

2. Students and staff wash hands frequently

3. Families do not send students to school if the student is sick 

4. Health office safely sends sick kids home

5. All students who have Covid Symptoms must show a negative Covid test before returning to school


Thank you Golden Hill Families for making our school safe.  We know it is a huge inconvenience, but it is worth it.  We are protecting our kids and our community members.
